Brain pop is well known as a moderately inexpensive subscription website with very nice learning tutorials. I high recommend it for students in middle school who like to explore different subjects.
Well, brainpop now has some free items that you can use without buying a subscription. They include educational (short) movies, quizzes, activities, and games.
