"Free" College Prep Chemistry Online

This is a full online textbook that ads animations to help students visualize chemistry. You may leave a $20.00 payment/tip if you like the program.

This website provides the online version of An Introduction to Chemistry, which is intended for use in beginning chemistry courses that have no chemistry prerequisite. The text was written for students who want to prepare themselves for general college chemistry, for students seeking to satisfy a science requirement for graduation, and for students in health-related or other programs that require a one-semester introduction to general chemistry. No matter what a reader's goals are, this book will help them to learn the basics of chemistry.

Planet CD Rom

You only pay for shipping when using Planet CDROM. This makes the software not exactly free, but almost. I have purchased math blaster, Carmen Sandiego and more. My only caveat is these are ususally older versions, not the latest, so if you have a new operating system, you will want to check what systems the software works on before buying.
