I have been singing the praises of Khan Academy for many years. I am going to go ahead and say it again. This site is amazing. The few problems I had with it before (videos too quiet) software/grading intuitiveness... these things are on point now.
I just used it to help a homeschooler who was math phobic and had not really gotten past Algebra (and some Algebra 2) in one semester, this student has now mastered Geometry and Trig. It takes time and dedication but this site sets kids up for success... and adults too.
Use it whether your kid is homeschooled or not, daily use in the summer will also keep a student from losing ground when school is not in session. Oh, and it covers all subjects now... maybe not in full depth, but it can be a good template to follow as you home educate your kids... for free.

Master Math
Master Math teaches middle school math from grade six through Algebra 1. It is a full, stand alone curriculum great for homeschooling, but I have found that it is also a great supplement for whatever curriculum you may already be using.
At it's core it is a free program but the creator of these math videos and accompanying program also does online tutoring should you need it and you can purchase more practice problems as well.

Glencoe Algebra 1 Online Study Tools
With or without the addition of the textbook, that you can purchase at Amazon, for just a few dollars, The Glencoe Algebra 1 online study tools will walk your student through each and every step of Algebra 1. They can use self check quizzes, learn vocabulary and take advantage of extra examples, and do chapter tests online. The tests and quizzes are graded.

Algebra 2 online
It took me a year to find an Algebra 2 online course.... just in time for my daughter to start it. My son had to use a textbook.

It is provided by Henrico County Public Schools, Virginia
We will probably use it in conjunction with Khan Academy or another site with Algebra videos.

Math Vids Free math videos
Mathvids.com provides free math videos for all levels of math from Middle school math through Discrete math. If your student is having trouble learning a concept from their math book, you can help them find the corresponding Mathvid video help them understand better.
You can also use the video as your own online textbook, following the videos and exercises in order. You would need to purchase a workbook or find worksheets to go with it though.
There are ads on these videos, but you can pay a reasonable subscription fee for an ad-less version. I don't mind looking at ipad commercials though. The paid subscription includes the ability to download videos for later use and the ability to make the videos full screen.

Coolmath.com helps you understand math
I stumbled across coolmath.com while seeking a simpler explanation for solving equations with fractions. Coolmath.com covers addition through Trig and Precalculus. I found it easy to follow and think any teen struggling in math can learn from this site.
My only problem with this site is that it has a black background and bright colors. For my son who has migraines, it is difficult to use for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time. It would be better if the site had a white background. Besides that the website does a good job of explaining difficult math functions and providing extra math practice.

I am surprised that I never listed AAAmath.com before. I had been using it as long as I have been homeschooling to help the kids figure out concepts in their math books or online program that was not clear. This site does a great job of explaining difficult concepts clearly.

We already know that khan Academy has a great free online math program with the use of videos. They also have a section that walks you though The Official SAT Study Guide one math problem at a time.
You will need to purchase The Official SAT Study Guide

Khan Academy UPDATE
I recently gave information about Khan Academy, but now that I have looked at it further, I have to comment again... IT IS THAT GOOD!
Khan Academy delivers math and finance tutorials through Youtube videos. It is well detailed and my kids say it is very easy to follow. In addition to that, they have a free, adaptive math program available here. I can't believe this is free. I spent 2 hours on the site today, just testing myself and could not stop. The site finds your level and fills your learning gaps. Plus it progresses you through math seamlessly.
I plan to use this program this year AND make a few donations!

My kids have been using and enjoying this program for 3 months. Because of the way the program moves students can fly through concepts too quickly. This means they may be able to finish a unit but have not spent enough time in it to rememeber the concepts long term.
My suggestion is that you purchase a workbooks... basic math, pre algebra, algebra 2, geometry to go along with the lessons so give them extra practice and to test for long term retention. (You can also print worksheets from free worksheet websites)
Otherwise this program is excellent especially for test prep and relearning concepts.
